This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I've been thinking about getting another tattoo. Recently I've felt so restless, that I feel like even making little changes in my life help. I cut off my hair about a week ago. I had been growing it for locks of love- I still haven't sent it in yet though. I want my tattoo to be on my back, on my right, and to go a little onto the very top of my arm (maybe on the under part). It will be an upside tree with big roots. Today I was thinking that symbolically I should add something as a memorial to my Dad. For about a year I've wanted it. I'll have to take a photo of a tree that I like and then draw it and rework it by hand. Also, last night I was watching the TLC show "Miami Ink"?.. which also inspired me because there was this girl who got part of a poem on the whole top of her foot as a memorial to her brother who had committed suicide. My other tattoo isn't a memorial- but I got it after my stepdad died- which made me think a lot about the whole process of living and dying.
Knitting is a popular thing. It's funny that you mention knitted pants- for one of my apartment-mates B-days I bought her this old knitting book from the 70's (from Valu Village). There were all these patterns for like knitted skirts and suits for men and women.... it was crazy.
I mostly use knitting in my artwork- as a reference to "women's work"- as reclaimed by feminist practice. I'd love to make things like pants and sweaters- some day, when I'm not so crazy busy.
